Role description
This is 4 month contract to hire opening in Cleveland, OH. Candidate must be willing to convert to a full employee within 4-6 months. This is an onsite position. Candidate must be on our W2, no C2C. Our client is looking for a Business Analyst who has experience with client facing web applications at a financial institution or other heavily regulated industry. Candidates must have strong collaboration skills and story writing experience. The IT Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the alignment, integration, and governance of product life cycle, software development life cycle and work closely with our client's consumer digital stakeholders and delivery team. You will support the digital team by managing Jira Stories, priorities and backlog as well as maintaining documentation on Confluence. The BA will provide business analysis and reporting in support of our client's online banking web and mobile consumer facing applications. Essential Job Functions: β€’ Manage the Jira Project Board and respond in a timely manner β€’ Create, manage, and support administrative functions associated with Project Management Tools – EPPIC, Jira Align, Jira, and Confluence β€’ Provide support for PLC/SDLC governance, including but not limited to data quality, follow up, and reporting β€’ Provision new users in supported applications and maintain existing users’ access β€’ Respond to end user support requests effectively and communicate with them to address issues β€’ Create, develop and maintain technical documentation and user-guides β€’ Train end-users on tools supported β€’ Maintain and update support tracking records β€’ Work closely with contact center representatives in support of new product releases β€’ Supports the monthly posting and reconciliation process for Project financials β€’ Assist end users and PMO Operations Team with day-to-day functionality and efficiency of supported applications and processes β€’ Identify, manage and resolve issues in a timely manner β€’ Provide feedback to manager and other members on process change suggestions β€’ Work within a remote, customer oriented, positive team environment β€’ Demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for communications with technical and non-technical staff β€’ Support and/or participate in all phases of user acceptance testing to ensure quality in application releases and user experience for approved Project Management tools β€’ Other duties as assigned to support the Project Management Community Required Qualifications β€’ Proficient in information gathering and analytical approach to problem solving. β€’ Self-motivated with the ability to work with little to no supervision. β€’ 2- or 4-year college degree; or equivalent experience. β€’ Excellent interpersonal communication skills - written and verbal. β€’ Excellent time management and organizational skills. β€’ High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priority assignments. β€’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Jira/Confluence/Kanban.
