We're Hiring | Senior Business Analyst Location: New York City, NY (Onsite – 5 Days/Week) Employment Type: Contract Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Consumer Products and expertise in accounting, licensing, and business applications? We're looking for a highly motivated professional to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams while driving successful project delivery across the SDLC. Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the Consumer Products portfolio, working closely with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors. This role involves requirements gathering, production support, testing, UAT coordination, and application rollout while ensuring solutions align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Lead and participate in requirement gathering workshops, creating functional specifications, use cases, and process documentation. • Support all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, functional testing, UAT, implementation, and production support. • Troubleshoot production issues by performing detailed business and system analysis to ensure timely resolution. • Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test plans and test cases, and validate application functionality. • Collaborate with project managers to support project planning, scheduling, status reporting, and stakeholder communication. • Translate business objectives into system configuration and development requirements. • Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and communicate project updates effectively. • Support initiatives related to royalty/licensing, financial sub-ledgers, forecasting, deal management, contract management, and product development applications. Required Qualifications Mandatory Skills • ✔ Consumer Products Business Knowledge / Experience Core Experience • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience. • Strong experience supporting enterprise applications throughout the SDLC. • Experience with accounting and financial sub-ledger systems. • Strong understanding of royalties, licensing, forecasting, contracts, and business processes. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities across production support and project delivery. • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
