Business Analyst

Overview: Our company is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our technology and data-driven team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving business improvement and digital transformation by gathering requirements, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and solutions. The ideal candidate will be adept in Power BI and Azure DevOps, and exhibit a strong understanding of ETL and data modeling concepts. Key Responsibilities: • Gather, document, and validate requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical constraints. • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement; present findings in a clear and actionable manner. • Develop, maintain, and publish dashboards and reports using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making. • Collaborate with technical and business teams on data integration, transformation, and modeling initiatives, demonstrating strong understanding of ETL processes and data modeling best practices. • Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management, requirements tracking, and supporting agile project delivery. • Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, supporting the end-to-end project lifecycle. • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and build consensus. • Support continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending strategic changes. Key Skills & Qualifications: • Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements. • Advanced proficiency with Power BI, including report-building and dashboard creation. • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps for requirements, test case, and defect tracking. • Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data modeling (e.g., star and snowflake schemas). • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with experience synthesizing data into actionable business insights. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Experience with agile project management methodologies is a plus.
