Business Analyst

We are looking for a Business Analyst to support the client’s enterprise User Management modernization initiative, including the migration of a legacy PowerShell-based User Management Client tool into a Salesforce-based provisioning solution integrated with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory). This role will serve as the functional lead bridging identity management, Salesforce configuration, and state agency operational requirements. The Business Analyst will play a critical role in systems analysis, UAT development, integration testing, stakeholder coordination, and interim user provisioning support during the PALM release cycle. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of identity governance, Salesforce user security models, and formal software testing methodologies in a public-sector environment. This role is particularly well-suited for professionals with experience in state government IT environments, identity provisioning workflows, and enterprise application migration initiatives. Strict Requirement US Citizen or Greencard holder requirement per the client and W2 only Primary Responsibilities1. Systems Analysis & Migration Support • Analyze and document the functionality of the existing PowerShell-based User Management Client. • Serve as the functional lead for migration of User Management capabilities into Salesforce. • Map current provisioning workflows and translate them into Salesforce-native constructs. • Provide subject matter expertise on Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory structures. • Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce, STMS, and state agency Active Directories. 1. Software Quality Assurance & Testing • Develop comprehensive UAT test cases and test scripts. • Coordinate and execute integration testing between Salesforce and Entra ID. • Document and track defects through resolution during the PALM release cycle. • Apply formal software testing methodologies and maintain traceability documentation. 1. Stakeholder Management & Training • Facilitate workshops with state agencies to validate provisioning workflows. • Ensure workflows align with agency security and operational policies. • Develop end-user documentation and step-by-step “How-To” guides. • Create recorded training sessions and training materials. 1. Ongoing User Management Support • Provide interim provisioning and de-provisioning support within Entra ID and STMS. • Maintain Salesforce user data integrity. • Monitor identity lifecycle compliance during transition period. Required Technical Competencies • Salesforce user objects, permission sets, and native provisioning capabilities • Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory identity management • PowerShell logic interpretation and legacy tool analysis • Formal UAT development and defect management processes • Integration testing between enterprise systems • Experience supporting State Government IT environments • Experience with PALM release cycles or structured public-sector release governance • Knowledge of identity lifecycle management best practices • Experience documenting functional requirements and business process reengineering Requirements • 5+ years Business Analysis experience in enterprise IT environments • 3+ years working with identity management systems (Azure AD / Entra ID) • 2+ years Salesforce functional experience • Experience leading UAT and integration testing cycles • Experience working directly with external agencies or multi-stakeholder environments • Strong documentation and training development experience if interested, please apply with resume
