Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Project Lead to support a statewide Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation using Oracle Cerner Millennium. This role supports the deployment, optimization, and ongoing operations of the EHR across multiple healthcare sites. You will work closely with technical teams, clinical users, and program area leaders to deliver high-quality system, workflow, and reporting solutions. This is a high-impact, long‑term project with meaningful work that directly supports community health initiatives. Key Responsibilities As the Project Lead / Senior BA, you will: • Serve as a Cerner PowerChart Analyst, including build, testing, validation, and optimization. • Complete Cerner PowerChart configurations: PowerNote, PowerForm, PowerPlan, Dynamic Docs, ESH. • Apply expertise in Discern rules, DCW, CCL, and workflow configuration. • Lead complex issue resolution across hardware, software, and system components. • Collaborate with clinical analysts to map current/future workflows. • Deliver and support functional applications and documentation. • Lead technical analysis discussions and produce supporting artifacts. • Support interface troubleshooting (FSI, ESI, ESO, bidirectional interfaces). • Conduct system testing, production validation, and manage release processes. • Create user documentation, support onboarding, and deliver training. • Monitor data quality, usage reports, and assist with improvements. • Maintain SharePoint content, system protocols, and assist with cybersecurity compliance (NIST, FISMA, etc.). Required Skills (Top priorities) • 5+ years supporting IT Healthcare Systems • 5+ years as an IT Systems Analyst • 5+ years with HL7 • 5+ years with Foreign Systems Integration (FSI) • 5+ years with Cerner Olympus • Experience compiling and developing reports Preferred Skills • Cerner CCL • Cerner HNA User, Bedrock, Remedy • Cerner RLN, WQM, RRD • MS Office Suite, SharePoint • JavaScript • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Public Health, Environmental Science, OR 5+ years equivalent experience.
