Role description
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
The Technical Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and enhancing the Clientβs Human Resources systems, with a primary focus on the SCEIS SAP ECC platform along with other agency systems.
This position bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions by analyzing HR processes, identifying areas for improvement, and leveraging SAP functionalities to optimize workflows and data integrity.
The analyst collaborates closely with HR, IT, and Finance departments to ensure system capabilities align with organizational goals. Responsibilities include system analysis, testing, documentation, training, reporting, and project coordination. The role also supports system upgrades, ensures compliance with IT security standards, and contributes to the full software development lifecycle.
With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous process improvement, this position is essential to maintaining the integrity, efficiency, and effectiveness of HR operations across the enterprise.
Required Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance):
1. Ability to analyze, document, and improve business and system processes using various tools and methodologies.
1. Experience with HRIS systems.
1. Working knowledge of state HR/payroll processes, data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA, FLSA), and regulatory compliance frameworks.
1. Proficient in creating user guides, SOPs, and technical documentation.
1. Advanced skills in reporting, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
1. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and collaborative tools (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
Preferred Skills (Ranked in Order of Importance):
1. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
1. Experience with industry standard information security practices.
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
1. Understanding of IT development and implementation projects.
Required Education:
β’ Bachelorβs or Masterβs Degree in a relevant field of work, or equivalent work experience.
