Role description
Snowflake Business Analyst - Contract-to-Hire- β Remote (US)
Weβre partnering with a leading global digital platform in the sports and e-commerce space to hire a Snowflake Analyst on a contract-to-hire basis.
This is part of a major data transformation and migration initiative, supporting the build-out of a new application and helping streamline how data is used across the business.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and business. Itβs ideal for someone who enjoys working hands-on with data, but more importantly, can translate technical insights into clear business value.
Youβll play a key role in helping teams understand and utilize data within Snowflake, while supporting migration efforts and improving reporting capabilities across the organisation.
What Youβll Be Doing
β’ Work directly within Snowflake, navigating datasets and supporting ongoing data migration
β’ Translate technical data into clear, business-friendly insights
β’ Support stakeholders (including teams using platforms like Workday) in understanding and migrating data into Snowflake
β’ Move and shape data into reporting layers (e.g., Power BI) and build visualizations/dashboards
β’ Act as a bridge between engineering and business teams, helping reduce backlog and improve delivery speed
β’ Communicate how data flows and how it can be leveraged across different teams
What Weβre Looking For
β’ 3β5 yearsβ experience in a Data Analyst / Business Analyst / Analytics role
β’ Practical experience working with Snowflake (navigation, querying, data handling)
β’ Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI preferred)
β’ Strong communication skills, ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
β’ Good understanding of data workflows and data movement
β’ Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
β’ Confident explaining Snowflake to others
