Business Analyst/QA

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst/QA for a Contract position with a client located in Pennsylvania. Ideally looking for candidates 80% BA and 20% QA with in the Tri-sates only. Rate Range: $60-$68/hr on W2, The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors Title: Business Analyst/QA Job Types: Contract Location: Pennsylvania (Tri-state) - Hybrid Position Summary: The Business Analyst is responsible for collecting and documenting requirements to build new application/enhance existing application. The Analyst meets with Stakeholder to understand business processes and their needs, translates them to business/functional/Data requirement document; create workflow diagram, communicates requirements and data flow to technical staff They work with Developers to get the requirements implemented; they Test the application; Conducts UAT and provide post Deployment On-Site Support. Business Analyst position has a dual role, they will be testing applications as well. Essential Functions • Proficient in Scheduling meeting to Gather, Analyze, and document business and software requirements from stakeholders. • Analyze business processes and translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories, use cases, functional specifications, and Test Cases. • Proficient in creating Training Documents, Training users and providing support after a release. • Collaborate with Developers and QA to ensure solution align with business Goals. • Ability to test applications both functional Testing and regression Testing. • Ability to convert Requirements into Test cases. • Communicating with software developers, business analysts, and testers succinctly. • Demonstrated ability to work alone on projects from start to finish.
