Role description
Duration: 6+ Months Location: VA-McLean, 100% Remote Overview: Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Business Analytics Senior Analyst, you will join Turnberry's Business Transformation practice. Turnberry's Business Transformation practice is dedicated to diagnosing and addressing core business challenges including regulatory compliance, full-scale implementation, managing change and driving continuous improvement across transformation initiatives. Responsibilities • Create and analyze datasets to identify areas of strength and areas of opportunity across core business lines • Identify opportunities for digital product experience and draft associated business cases • Evaluate business and consumer impacts from consumer engagement strategies and changes to digital product experience • Create and inform data asset roadmap to serve core business lines and the enterprise • Create reporting and business intelligence products to enable efficient and effective monitoring of key performance indicators Qualifications • 3 yrs of experience in analyst roles influencing business strategy • Proficient with SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint Competencies Required • Pull and analyze data (High importance) • Very strong at using SQL to explore scope, structure, and limitations of data existing structures and to pull data from disparate data sources • Nimble at creating new data products for ad hoc analysis and documenting data product design decisions • Readily pull and translate data into actionable insights • Structured problem solving and communication (High importance) • Ability to frame a problem in terms of key questions to be answered, key assumptions to be made, data needed to answer question, and business actions to take • Ability to distill complex analysis into crisp, actionable, and executive-ready PowerPoint slide decks • Ability to storyboard to guide analysis planning and reporting product development • Journey analytics (Medium importance) • Ability to frame business and customer outcomes in terms of journey • Ability to summarize disparate consumer interactions in terms of business and customer outcomes • Ability to perform longitudinal analysis • Business acumen (Medium importance) • Ability to quickly learn economic model of a business and associated business levers • Ability to translate proposed strategies into back-of-envelope Excel models to discern magnitude and range of impact on business outcomes • Can autonomously research a business or product to understand size of market, competitive landscape, drivers of differentiation, key customer segments, and business levers The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $160,000 or the hourly equivalent.
