Role description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Applications Analyst Senior based in the United States. This senior-level role focuses on bridging business needs with enterprise application and IT solutions, ensuring financial systems and platforms operate efficiently and evolve with organizational priorities. You will act as a key advisor to stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable system solutions that enhance performance, compliance, and user experience. The role involves deep engagement with Oracle ERP ecosystems, where you will support implementation, optimization, and ongoing production support across financial processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify risks, improve processes, and ensure system integrity across large-scale financial operations. This position also plays a critical role in testing, documentation, and solution design to support continuous improvement of enterprise applications. Accountabilities β€’ Provide analytical and advisory support to stakeholders on business and IT application strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future needs. β€’ Analyze, document, and refine business requirements for enterprise applications, particularly within financial systems and ERP platforms. β€’ Support the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle EBS Financial systems. β€’ Identify process gaps and recommend improvements across financial workflows, including procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles. β€’ Troubleshoot system issues related to financial close processes, ensuring timely resolution and operational continuity. β€’ Design, configure, and maintain Oracle ERP workflows, approval rules, and security roles using BPM Worklist and related tools. β€’ Support system testing activities, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing for new implementations and enhancements. β€’ Develop and maintain reporting solutions using BI Publisher, Smart View, FRS, and OTBI to support business decision-making. β€’ Ensure proper documentation standards, system controls, and compliance with risk and governance requirements. β€’ Provide training and guidance to business users to ensure effective adoption of ERP tools and processes. Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience. β€’ Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and/or Oracle EBS Financials in implementation and production support environments. β€’ Deep expertise in financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Fixed Assets, and related processes. β€’ Experience with Oracle Fusion implementations, including Payables and Receivables, and financial systems configuration. β€’ Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash business processes. β€’ Experience in Oracle workflow configuration, security roles, data conversion (FBDI/ADFDI), and system troubleshooting. β€’ Proficiency in reporting tools such as BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View, and Financial Reporting Studio (FRS). β€’ Experience supporting testing cycles including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing. β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to support both technical and business stakeholders. β€’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced enterprise environment.
