Role description
Role: Business Data Analyst Location: Richmond, VA (3x a week onsite). β€’ Please do not apply unless you're local or willing to relocate and be onsite your first day β€’ Overview: The Project Level Data Management (PLDM) associate is a position within the Governance & Execution team. This role oversees the Project Level Data Management review & approval process for identifying Data Management / Governance impacts of Technology Changes occurring within applications for the in-scope Global Technology Front Line Units (i.e., CIO teams). This role operates in a fast-paced environment with an expectation to provide guidance on complying with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Standards, determine data management impacts / deliverables, and ensure deliverables are completed within mutually agreed upon SLAs with Technology Change managers. This position requires a lot of multi-tasking without losing effectiveness in day-to-day processing of change requests in a detail-oriented manner. The Project Level Data Management (PLDM) associate will deal with many areas and stakeholders such as, but not limited to, Global Technology CIO development teams (Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Application Managers, Data Domain Managers, Authorized Data Source (ADS) Managers), Enterprise Data Management Standards team (e.g., Transport and External Data Transmission Standards) etc. This role will also Partner and effectively communicate with various lines of business by providing detailed guidance and tasks required to ensure EDM compliance. Responsibilities below: Β· Self-starter with ability to learn quickly with limited guidance (i.e., carry out process end-to-end with little input). Β· Manage assigned portfolio of technology change releases. Β· Perform QA activities on information provided and evidence uploaded in the respective system of record. Β· Responsible for ensuring reviews have been completed satisfactorily prior to recommending DQCE (Data Quality and Control Executive) Approval. Β· Ability to recognize when escalations are necessary and feel comfortable escalating non-action to senior leadership. Β· Communicate detailed and/or executive summary level updates for overall portfolio to include reviews in progress and completed reviews pending artifact collection. Β· Meet deliverables within SLAs and work overtime when necessary. . Required Qualifications General knowledge of Banking industry Β· Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC processes) and Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies. Β· Ability to work with high volumes of detailed technical & business metadata. Β· Ability to analyze both Process and Data to identity meaningful actionable outcomes. Β· Understand Change Management processes in a technology environment. Β· Prior experience in one of the following areas: Developer, Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Application Support / Operations Analyst, or Business Analyst. Compensation: $45/hr-$55/hr on W2. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
