Business Data Analyst About the role : We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst to join a dynamic Business Intelligence team supporting enterprise-level business operations. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver advanced analytics, interactive dashboards, predictive models, and actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate has strong SQL expertise, experience with Power BI and/or Tableau, and a proven ability to translate complex data into meaningful business recommendations. Key responsibilities : • Partner with business leaders to gather requirements and translate business needs into reporting and analytics solutions. • Extract, analyze, and validate data from enterprise data warehouses, operational systems, and approved data sources. • Design, develop, and maintain: • Interactive dashboards • Executive reports • Data visualizations • Business intelligence solutions • Ad hoc reporting requests • Build descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics that support strategic business initiatives. • Develop forecasting models and perform scenario analysis to support business planning. • Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner. • Document, test, validate, and maintain analytical models following established governance standards. • Perform peer reviews of SQL code, reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions. • Ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, security, and proper documentation. • Maintain existing dashboards, reports, and business intelligence assets. Required Qualifications : • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or another quantitative discipline. • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics. • Experience delivering: • Descriptive Analytics • Diagnostic Analytics • Predictive Analytics • Prescriptive Analytics • Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders to solve business problems using data. Skills: • Advanced SQL • Database querying and data management • Power BI and/or Tableau (strong preference for experience with both) • Data visualization • Business Intelligence reporting • Predictive modeling • Forecasting • Advanced Microsoft Excel • Microsoft PowerPoint • Visio • Jira • Adobe Acrobat Compensation: $60/hr - $65/hr This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
