Business Data Analyst

Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing) • Applies knowledge of best practices derived from experience and external networking to solve a range of complex technical and operational problems. • Takes a new perspective on existing solutions to solve complex problems. • Exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information. • Leads small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements; plays significant roles in larger, more complex initiatives. • Impacts a range of client, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams. • Works independently and receives minimal guidance. Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.) • In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.). • Focus on process automation to improve efficiency. • Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines. • Experience managing small-mid size projects with some complexity. • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders. Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However candidates with any of these will be looked at first.) • Experience working with modern cloud-based data and analytics platforms, such as AWS and Snowflake, to support scalable reporting and insight generation. • Experience working with HR data, including applying data standards, business rules, and analytics to support workforce insights and decision-making. • Experience using programming languages such as Python or R to support data analysis, automation, or advanced analytical problem-solving.
