Pay Range: $45.00 - $50/hr
Role Focus: 60% Technical / 40% Business-Facing
Role Summary:
We are seeking a senior Data Analyst III to build scalable analytics, reporting, and automation solutions. In this role, you will bridge technical and business teams by translating business requirements into data pipelines, automated workflows, and high-impact dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Analytics & Reporting: Define KPIs with stakeholders and build dashboards (QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI).
β’ Data Engineering & SQL: Write advanced SQL queries and analyze data across cloud warehouses (AWS S3, Redshift, Athena).
β’ Automation & AI: Develop Python scripts for reporting workflows and leverage AI/ML tools to streamline coding and processes.
β’ Data Quality & Pipelines: Partner with engineering teams on ETL/ELT pipelines, troubleshoot Airflow DAGs, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on data issues.
β’ Stakeholder Management: Gather business requirements, document data flows, and present key insights to decision-makers.
Must-Have Qualifications
β’ Experience: 7+ years in Data Analytics, BI, or Analytics Engineering.
β’ Technical Skills: Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, optimization), strong Python (pandas, boto3), and foundational ETL/data modeling knowledge (dimensional, star schema).
β’ Cloud & Tools: Proficiency with AWS data services and experience using modern AI tools for coding/automation.
β’ Business Acumen: Proven track record of defining metrics, owning end-to-end KPI frameworks, and working directly with business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications (Plusses)
β’ Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Middle/Last Mile, or Transportation.
β’ Deep expertise in QuickSight (SPICE datasets, parameters) and Airflow.
β’ Hands-on experience with GenAI tools (e.g., Bedrock, Copilot, Q).
β’ Familiarity with Smartsheet automation, Git/version control, and Agile methodologies.
