We are seeking a hybrid Business/Data Analyst to support a portfolio of initiatives across a Financial Firm's Sales Data Management and AUM Reporting Team. This role requires 2-days onsite in NYC and is contract initiative.

Description
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support initiatives related to Sales and AUM data, reporting, and operational workflows
• Analyze current-state processes and reporting to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement, and help define future-state solutions
• Work closely with development teams to refine requirements, support backlog creation, and drive execution from discovery through implementation
• Create high-quality presentations, stakeholder updates, and project documentation, while keeping teams aligned on progress, risks, and key decisions

Profile
• Proven experience partnering with business and technology stakeholders on data, reporting, or analytics initiatives, ideally across Sales and AUM domains
• Strong requirements gathering and analysis skills, including leading discovery sessions and documenting processes, data flows, and dependencies
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable artefacts such as user stories, process flows, data requirements, and functional documentation
• Experience supporting delivery teams through development, testing, UAT, and implementation, with the ability to manage workstreams independently
• Technical Requirements: Strong SQL and Excel skills
