• Location: pacific, Missouri • Type: Contract To Hire • Job #46929 Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Business Data Analyst, BTS. Do you have experience translating complex business questions into actionable insights using Power BI and advanced data modeling? Let us help you make your next big career move a reality! What You Will Be Doing As a Business Data Analyst (BDA) within the Business Transformation & Standards (BTS) team, you will translate operational performance and business questions into clear, trusted insights. You will partner closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand how work gets done, how success is measured, and where opportunities exist to improve efficiency and value delivery. This role is a 3-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity. While there is a strong preference for local St. Louis candidates, those residing in Austin, Charlotte, Dallas, Denver, Chicago/Lockport, Houston, Lansing, Memphis, or San Antonio will be considered if they are willing to work in the office at least three days per week for the first 60 days. Key Responsibilities • Develop and deliver trusted dashboards, reports, and insights to support business and IT decision-making. • Analyze performance metrics and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement actions. • Validate data against business rules, document assumptions, and surface data quality issues for resolution. • Partner with Product Owners and leaders to support discovery, prioritization, and solution design using data and process insights. • Translate business needs into clear data definitions, reporting requirements, and success measures. • Document and analyze end-to-end business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities. • Support enterprise transformation through strong business requirements, UAT, and reporting validation. Required Skills & Experience • 3-5+ years of data analysis, business intelligence, or related experience. • Proficiency with Power BI and Excel (advanced formulas, modeling, and validation). • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect data to real business context. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to tell “data stories” to non-technical audiences. • High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Driver's License. Desired Skills & Experience • Experience within a construction environment or industry is strongly preferred. • Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to executive leadership. Pay: $38.50 – $55.00 /hr. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States.
