Role description
Business Analyst / Data Analyst
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories by collaborating with business stakeholders.
• Analyze large datasets using SQL and Excel to identify trends, validate data, and provide actionable business insights.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau to support business decision-making.
• Perform data profiling, data validation, source-to-target mapping (STTM), and support ETL/data migration initiatives.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and Data Engineering teams throughout the Agile SDLC.
• Conduct UAT planning, test case validation, defect tracking, and ensure business requirements are met before production release.
• Support data governance, data quality, metadata management, and maintain accurate business documentation using Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Experience working with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or Azure is preferred.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
