Description
Our Client is looking for a Power BI business analyst with strong business acumen and business analyst skills for a contract role. This team is responsible for creating performance metrics for different vehicles. This is a critical role that interfaces with many departments and brands so they can create profitability metrics for the brands.
The candidate will be pulling reports including monthly sales and competitive trends, market specific trends and sales forecasting reports to create meaningful dashboards and other visualization tools. The candidate will also be required to maintain access permissions, tracking user requests and onboarding to new tools. Work as an integral member within the team to provide support for all retail-related items including new car incentives, production, distribution, and consensus. Develop analytical solutions to improve business results. Assist with the alignment of business and data functions to maximize the effectiveness, drive efficiency and provide innovative tools and solutions to large data sets.
You will be pulling data and providing reporting that helps increase sales and will find areas of improvement when they need to run promotions, etc. You will be working closely with a team that is a group of data analyst and AI/ML data scientists that feed data and pull it for reporting for support individuals to use.
They need a strong business analyst that can work with data analysts to translate what these support individuals want to see to best understand what data is most valuable, come up with additional ideas on how to get better insights and support the overall creation of reports and insights for those support people to use in their day-to-day activities. This will be heavier on the Business Analyst side with soft data skills. Automotive experience would be significantly valuable especially if they have worked with sales data or retail incentive data.
This is a Power BI and SQL role with heavy functional and business facing skills.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
