Role description
Our client is looking for a detail-driven, curious, and highly collaborative Business Analyst / Data Analyst (IT Projects) to help drive critical technology and data initiatives. In this role, you’ll partner with stakeholders across the organization to translate ideas into requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful delivery from concept through implementation. This is a highly visible role for someone who enjoys connecting people, processes, and data to create meaningful business outcomes.

Candidates must be able to work on a W2 basis.
Ideal candidates will already be local to Los Angeles Metropolitan area and can work a hybrid schedule in Downtown Los Angeles.

• What You’ll Do
Drive Requirements & Solution Design
• Evaluate and assess existing documentation to understand project scope, change impact, and required updates.
• Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to uncover business needs, goals, and success metrics.
• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, user, and system requirements.
• Translate requirements into wireframes, process flows, and solution design concepts.
Lead Delivery & User Adoption
• Facilitate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Provide end-user training, rollout support, and post-implementation guidance.
• Maintain project coordination artifacts such as meeting notes, action logs, and project trackers.
Turn Data into Insights
• Perform data analysis, cleansing, and transformation to support decision-making.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Design reports that support business continuity, operations, and analytics.
What You Bring
• 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or IT projects.
• 3+ years gathering and documenting requirements for software or SDLC implementations.
• Hands-on experience creating: - Wireframes and process flow diagrams, Technical and user documentation, Research and analysis for business and technology initiatives
• 1+ year managing or coordinating projects with a strong IT component (preferred)
• Familiarity with project tracking, resource allocation, and monitoring tools.
Technical Skills
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
• Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
• Proven ability to extract, analyze, and translate data into actionable insights.
