Role description
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in information science, Computer Science, Database Management, Public Health, or a closely related field required; a master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data dictionaries, data standards, and metadata management frameworks.
• Experience with data governance or metadata management tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or similar).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience working in healthcare, public health, or government data environments.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and their implications for metadata and data standardization.
