Role description
Business Data Analyst (Portfolio Management)
Our client is kicking off a portfolio management (portfolio construction) work project and is looking for a strong Business Systems Analyst/ Data Analyst to join their team.
Must Have:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Data Analyst
- Financial services industry experience, preferably asset management
- Solid Data analysis, requirements gathering, clear and concise documentation
- Front office (trading) or middle office experience
Most of the team is senior, so they are looking for a more junior person β around 5 years of experience, BSA who can do data analysis, get requirements, write documentation, etc. Someone with some front or middle office experience that wants to grow in that area.
I guess I would say look for either 1) a junior BA with trading or order management experience (should know SQL at a minimum, probably python too though donβt need to be expert level), or 2) someone who worked as a trading assistant or other front or middle office type of role and who has a technical background.
