Role description
This role will focus on analyzing cloud resource utilization, costs, and performance metrics to deliver actionable business intelligence that drives informed decision-making. The Business Analyst will work closely with cloud operations teams to develop reporting, dashboards, optimization strategies, and cost management solutions across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect, analyze, and report on cloud resource consumption data across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards to monitor cloud utilization, costs, and performance metrics.
• Define, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cloud efficiency and resource utilization.
• Design and implement interactive dashboards and visualizations using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Deliver actionable insights to support cloud budgeting, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization efforts.
• Integrate cloud resource data from AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, and other cloud APIs into centralized reporting repositories.
• Develop automation processes and reporting workflows to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide analytical support for cloud infrastructure planning, deployment, and scaling initiatives.
• Document cloud monitoring, reporting, and optimization processes and procedures.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Required Technical Skills

• Experience with cloud resource management and cost optimization initiatives.
• Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools including:

• Strong SQL skills and experience with data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with cloud-native query technologies such as:

• Google BigQuery
• Experience using cloud cost management tools including:

• Equivalent platforms
• Strong data visualization and dashboard development experience.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and identify optimization opportunities.
• Experience supporting cloud resource provisioning and management activities.
