About The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this full-time, remote, temporary position, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. You will work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate insights that drive business performance. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus. • 2–5 years of experience in business analytics, reporting, or a related role. • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Responsibilities • Collect, analyze, and interpret business data from multiple sources to identify trends and insights. • Design and develop reports and visualizations to communicate findings effectively using tools such as Excel and BI platforms. • Partner with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver accurate, timely insights. • Maintain and improve data quality, consistency, and integrity across various reporting systems. • Provide ad-hoc analyses to support leadership decision-making and strategic planning. • Monitor key business performance metrics, identify opportunities, and flag potential risks. • Support strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting through comprehensive data analysis. • Document reporting processes and provide training or guidance to team members on analytics tools and methodologies.
