Job Title: Business Data Analyst (Banking)
Job Location: Northampton, UK (Hybrid)
Job Type: 6 months contract
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Data Analyst with strong domain expertise in Banking and Financial Services, particularly within Financial Crime (KYC/AML).
The ideal candidate will combine business analysis capability with strong data and technical skills to support regulatory, payments, and customer-focused initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform data analysis and gap analysis to identify business and system improvements
• Gather, analyse, and document:
• Business Requirements
• Stakeholder Requirements
• Solution Requirements
• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to conduct needs assessments and support solution design
• Work closely with technical teams across all SDLC phases, including Scrum and deployment processes
• Support reporting and insights using Power BI and SQL
• Contribute to delivery tracking and collaboration using Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence
• Work across banking domains including KYC, AML, CRM, Payments, Transfers, and Cards
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in the Banking domain, especially Financial Crime (KYC/AML)
• Proficiency in:

• PySpark

• Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence
• Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and deployment cycles
