Job Title: Business Data Lead Location: Hartford, CT (EST), USA Job Summary • Seeking a Business Data Lead with strong expertise in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, and Insurance Property & Casualty (P&C) domain. • The role requires leading data-driven transformation initiatives, engaging with senior business stakeholders, and designing modern analytics platforms leveraging Microsoft technologies. Key Responsibilities • Lead and assist with architectural and strategic thinking, information solutions, and roadmaps to drive architectural recommendations. • Drive technical vision and architecture designs to achieve consensus across multiple teams. • Work directly with CXOs and their delegates to deliver transformational initiatives. • Understand business needs and design Data Analytics platforms aligned with organizational goals. • Deliver complex consulting projects within Data Analytics practices. • Facilitate discovery of entities, attributes, relationships, and business rules from functional experts and user communities. • Understand potential impacts of proposed solutions on systems, processes, and projects. • Articulate and document data designs, including trade-offs, costs, and benefits. • Support data migration initiatives from on-premises databases to cloud platforms. • Review requirements and provide work effort estimations. • Design and present architecture solutions to senior customer leadership. • Manage and collaborate effectively with client stakeholders. Required Skills • Microsoft Fabric • Power BI • Azure Data Factory • ETL • SQL • MS SQL Server • Relational Databases • Strong database concepts and design expertise • Strong Insurance Property & Casualty (P&C) domain knowledge • Familiarity with Insurance P&C processes and terminologies • Experience designing and delivering Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions • Experience understanding data technology and organizational challenges related to Financial Risk and Operations • Experience delivering complex Data Analytics consulting engagements • Experience working directly with executive leadership and business stakeholders Preferred Skills • Data Solution Architect experience with deep Insurance P&C domain expertise • Experience migrating data from on-premises databases to cloud environments Qualifications • Strong experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Architecture. • Expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. • Strong stakeholder management capabilities. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills. • Ability to work effectively with client stakeholders across business and technology functions. • Ability to design, communicate, and present architecture solutions to senior leadership. • Strong analytical, consulting, and problem-solving skills.
