Job Description
This role supports the development and implementation of business intelligence tools, statistical models, and AI-driven insights to solve business problems and uncover opportunities. The Business Data Scientist I works collaboratively with internal teams and market intelligence partners to deliver scalable data solutions and reporting tools that enhance decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and maintain business intelligence reports, dashboards, and advanced analytics models
β’ Build and support large-scale data pipelines and scalable processes for model development, validation, and deployment
β’ Design and implement user-friendly data visualization tools and automated reporting solutions
β’ Assist in developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models to address business challenges
β’ Work with large datasets across hybrid cloud environments and multiple data sources
β’ Apply AI, ML, and statistical methodologies to uncover insights and drive recommendations
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver effective solutions
β’ Support ongoing enhancements to data accessibility, governance, and performance
β’ Create technical documentation and participate in model lifecycle activities
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned

β’ Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate)
β’ Predictive and prescriptive modeling
β’ Data visualization and dashboard creation

Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
β’ Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics, database development, or similar roles
β’ Experience in the natural gas industry preferred
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate)
β’ Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
