Role description
Job Title: (Business Development Manager 3) Job Description This fully remote role focuses on leading risk management strategy and organizational change initiatives for large-scale cloud infrastructure and Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) programs. The consultant develops and embeds integrated enterprise risk management practices, drives process transformation, enables risk governance, and leads organizational change and training efforts across a global, matrixed organization of more than 2,000 people. The position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution, combining risk management, analytics, stakeholder engagement, and operational readiness to support complex capital project environments. Responsibilities • Develop and drive an enterprise-wide vision for integrated EPC risk management across cross-functional stakeholder teams. • Conduct current-state versus future-state assessments of risk processes, tooling, governance structures, and reporting mechanisms. • Lead gap analyses and recommend scalable solutions for risk identification, assessment, mitigation, escalation, and reporting. • Establish strategies to institutionalize risk awareness and data-driven decision-making across the organization. • Create executive-ready presentations, strategy documents, process maps, and transformation roadmaps to support risk initiatives. • Support rollout readiness for a 2,000+ person organization through targeted onboarding, awareness campaigns, and training programs. • Facilitate stakeholder alignment workshops and conduct change impact assessments across multiple global teams. • Drive grassroots adoption of new risk management practices by partnering directly with project teams and regional stakeholders. • Manage administrative activities such as scheduling training sessions, alignment meetings, and feedback collection across regions and organizations. • Analyze risk data across projects, regions, and portfolios to identify trends, escalation points, and potential business impacts. • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor risk appetite and track risk tolerance. • Produce weekly and monthly executive reports on risk metrics, trends, mitigation activities, and governance progress. • Support the establishment and continuous improvement of Risk Management Rhythm of Business (RoB) processes and governance frameworks. • Provide actionable insights and recommendations using limited or sparse datasets to inform strategic decision-making. • Manage stakeholder relationships across cross-functional EPC and business teams within a highly matrixed environment. • Lead weekly status reviews, two-week look-ahead planning sessions, and program execution reporting for leadership. • Collaborate with leadership teams to align risk management goals, transformation objectives, and execution priorities. • Operate independently while maintaining clear, consistent communication with senior leaders and global stakeholder groups. • Partner with EPC risk stakeholders to assess current-state risk management processes and facilitate alignment discussions. • Develop future-state process documentation and support organizational change management activities to enable adoption. • Conduct training and onboarding sessions on risk processes, tools, and governance expectations. • Provide regular program status updates to leadership teams, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution. Essential Skills • At least 8+ years of experience in enterprise risk management and governance. • At least 3+ years of experience in organizational change management, training, and stakeholder engagement. • At least 5+ years of experience in data analytics, Power BI reporting, and executive dashboard development. • Proven experience in risk management, organizational change management, program management, or business transformation roles. • Strong expertise in enterprise risk management frameworks within compliance-driven environments and large-scale capital project delivery. • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement organizational change management strategies, stakeholder communication plans, and training programs. • Experience creating process documentation, future-state process maps, governance models, and transformation roadmaps. • Strong analytical skills with experience in trend analysis, risk reporting, and escalation management. • Hands-on experience with Power BI, data visualization, and executive-level reporting dashboards. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. • Proven ability to work independently in complex, fast-paced, and highly matrixed organizations. • Ability to synthesize ambiguous information into clear, actionable strategic recommendations. • Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, executive presence, and change leadership. • Proficiency in stakeholder influence, risk analysis, problem solving, and facilitation. • Commitment to program execution, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making. • High adaptability and comfort with independent execution in a transformation-focused environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • PMI-RMP, AACE, Prosci, ACMP, or equivalent professional certification is preferred. • Experience supporting Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), infrastructure, or cloud/data center programs. • Familiarity with risk appetite models, tolerance frameworks, and governance reporting structures. • Experience working within enterprise digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives. • Background in compliance-driven or highly regulated business environments. • Exposure to data center and infrastructure engineering environments. • Experience with creating detailed process maps for risk and governance workflows. • PMI-related certifications or training are advantageous. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams. • Interest in influencing enterprise-wide risk transformation initiatives and scalable governance practices. Work Environment This position is fully remote and open to candidates in any U.S. time zone, with a preference for those who can align with Pacific Time working hours. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with no overtime expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
