Job Title: Business Development Manager-Staffing (6 Month Contract to Hire)
Industry: Recruiting & Staffing
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager for a 6+ month contract to drive new client acquisition and expand our IT contract staffing business in the US market.
This is not a lead-generation or junior sales role. We need someone who has already worked in IT staffing sales, understands contract hiring, and can actively bring in C2C requirements from real clients.
What you will do
β’ Develop and manage your own client pipeline in IT contract staffing.
β’ Generate and close C2C contract requirements consistently.
β’ Maintain an active workflow of clients rather than working on one-off deals.
β’ Work closely with our recruitment team to align client needs with available talent.
β’ Speak confidently with C-suite, decision makers, hiring managers, delivery leads, and procurement teams.
β’ Build long-term client relationships rather than transactional sales.
Must-have experience
β’ Minimum 5+ years in Business Development within the Recruiting & Staffing industry.
β’ Proven experience selling IT contract roles in the US market.
β’ Demonstrated ability to bring in C2C requirements independently.
β’ Working knowledge of data-focused roles, including:
β’ Data Engineer
β’ AI Engineer
β’ ML Engineer
β’ Databricks, Snowflake specialists
β’ Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) Engineers
β’ Analytics consultants (Tableau, Power BI, etc)
β’ (You do not need to code, but you must understand these roles well enough to sell them intelligently to clients.)
β’ Existing relationships and a book of business that you can bring along & leverage
β’ Ability to quickly build a client pipeline.
What success looks like in this role
In the first 3-6 months, we expect you to:
β’ Bring in steady C2C contract requirements.
β’ Build at least 2-3 active client accounts.
β’ Work closely with our recruiters to successfully place candidates.
β’ Demonstrate strong client communication and negotiation skills.
Application instructions - read carefully
To be considered for this role, you must submit the following:
1. A personalized cover letter explaining:
β’ Your experience in staffing sales.
β’ Your exposure to IT contract roles.
β’ How your background aligns with this role.
1. At least two short case studies that clearly show:
β’ The type of client you worked with.
β’ The roles you sold (for example: Data Engineer, AI/ML, or similar).
β’ How you generated requirements.
β’ What results you delivered (placements, revenue, or long-term partnerships).
1. Your definition of success for the next 6 months in this role.
(We want to see if you truly understand the expectations of this position and have paid attention to the details of this job description.)
Applications that do not include these elements will not be reviewed.
If you are a serious staffing sales professional who can generate real business rather than just talk about it, we want to hear from you.
