Business Intelligence Analyst (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft. Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to join a dynamic team focused on aligning technology solutions with business strategies across complex operational environments. This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, requiring a unique blend of data analytics expertise and supply chain knowledge. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, demonstrates a strong ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions, and brings a hybrid background that spans both data-driven decision-making and supply chain operations. This is a fully remote opportunity requiring alignment with Pacific Standard Time core business hours, offering a Monday through Friday schedule with no overtime expectations and a strong potential for extension. Job Responsibilities • Extract and analyze data to support business decision-making across multiple functional areas • Build, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights • Update and optimize existing Power BI solutions to reflect evolving business needs • Provide daily operational support to Order Fulfillment Managers • Work with key stakeholders across business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies • Gather and document requirements from business units and translate them for programmers and developers • Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to support system implementation decisions • Apply informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and identify improvement opportunities • Support one or more highly complex business processes simultaneously • Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs • Participate as an active project team member across multiple concurrent projects Requirements • 5 to 7 years of overall professional experience required • Minimum 3 years of hands-on data analysis experience required • Minimum 3 years of supply chain experience required • Hybrid background combining data analytics with supply chain operations strongly preferred • Demonstrated experience supporting Order Fulfillment or similar operational functions preferred • Proven ability to articulate prior analytical work and communicate complex findings clearly to diverse audiences • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required • Master of Business Administration or other related advanced degree preferred • Strong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to work with complex datasets • Proficiency in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and visualizations • Experience supporting supply chain operations including supply chain data, reporting, master data, or process analysis • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly in fast-moving settings • Basic knowledge of programming languages sufficient to read and understand code and basic functions • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet aggressive deadlines • Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage and operating efficiency • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying levels of technical knowledge • Ability to analyze complex situations, conduct multi-source research, and arrive at innovative solutions • Sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for problem resolution Additional Details • Location: Remote • Duration: 1 month • Pay Range • : $43.50 - $49.50 per hour • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours • Job Status: Non-Exempt • Application Deadline: Apply within 72 hours of the posting date to ensure consideration.
