Quantam Solutions provides IT solutions and consulting for various clients. We offer competitive hourly wages, health benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan. We are currently seeking a Business Analyst II. This position requires two days of onsite training (in Glastonbury, CT) and then allows for a fully remote work schedule.
Project Description:
A highly skilled, self-starting Business Analyst with strong communication and interpersonal skills is sought for a fast-paced Business Intelligence Team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in data analysis, visualizations, and data testing.
Scope of Services:
β’ Meeting coordination including agenda development and preparing meeting minutes.
β’ Collaborating with project managers and cross-functional teams.
β’ Working with business colleagues to understand their processes and data needs.
β’ Creating business and technical requirement documentation and obtaining stakeholder validation of requirements.
β’ Acting as liaison between developers and subject matter experts.
β’ Analyzing and formatting data including conducting statistical analysis.
β’ Collaborating with developers to create dashboards including recommending table and graph designs, naming conventions, and writing definitions.
β’ Mocking up reports and documenting report logic.
β’ Testing and cleansing data sets and verifying accuracy.
β’ Reviewing dashboards and reports with business colleagues to elicit their feedback.
Minimum Qualifications:
β’ A minimum of 3 yearsβ experience working in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analysis, or a similar field.
β’ A minimum of 1 year experience writing business requirement documents, report design, or similar tasks.
β’ Proficient with Excel and Visio.
β’ Experience with Tableau (or other visualization software) and SQL preferred.
β’ Knowledge of criminal justice systems or prior work with judicial system data preferred.
β’ Professionalism and flexibility in working relationships.
β’ Ability to set individual priorities, complete work with limited direction, and work in a team environment.
