Business Intelligence Analyst (GCP & Tableau) Location: Remote (U.S.) Type: Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $55/HR Overview Join a team supporting an analytics platform on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) and Tableau. You’ll focus on production data stability, dashboard/report maintenance, and light migration support from legacy SQL platforms into BigQuery and a newer Tableau environment. Work is SLA-driven with established SOPs. What You’ll Do • BigQuery / GCP Support • Create, maintain, and update BigQuery tables and datasets • Support table migrations from legacy platforms into BigQuery • Convert and validate SQL logic (legacy SQL ? BigQuery) • Perform data validation/reconciliation to ensure accuracy post-migration • Tableau Development & Migration • Build and maintain Tableau dashboards on BigQuery datasets • Support migration of dashboards to a new Tableau instance • Execute regression testing/validation and resolve discrepancies • Ensure refresh stability, accuracy, and performance • Data Ingestion & Production Support • Monitor scheduled ingestion jobs; troubleshoot and resolve failures • Partner with Data Engineering to address pipeline/data issues • Handle BAU reporting fixes, data updates, and dashboard changes • Provide clear status updates and escalate risks as needed Required Qualifications • 2–5 years in BI, analytics, or data engineering support • Strong SQL (BigQuery required; Hive/Presto exposure is a plus) • Hands-on BigQuery (GCP) experience • Hands-on Tableau dashboard development and support • Experience with data validation / reconciliation in production reporting Nice to Have • Tableau migration experience • Workflow orchestration exposure (e.g., Airflow) • Basic Python for automation • BigQuery performance tuning • Experience with logistics/freight or go-to-market (GTM) analytics domains System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
