Solutions - Jr. BI Analyst Openings: 3 Location: Fully Remote Hours: M-F core business hours PST Duration: 6 months, eligible for extensions Compensation: $29-33 Hourly Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Start Date: ASAP Interview: 2 Rounds • 1st - technical and EQ (virtual) • 2nd - EQ and with end client (virtual) • Must have previous Business Intelligence experience in PowerBI, SAP BusinessObjects, and Jira • Job Description: Optum is seeking a BI Analyst to support a large-scale initiative migrating legacy BI reporting from SAP BusinessObjects to Microsoft BI tools. This role is highly collaborative and stakeholder-facing, requiring strong requirements gathering, documentation, and communication skills, along with hands-on experience supporting BI users in an agile environment. Day to Day/Responsibilities: • Set up, lead, and participate in meeting with internal teams and external stakeholders to support BI reporting initiatives • Gather business and technical requirements and document the current BI reporting landscape • Analyst existing reports and workflows to recommend future design during the migration to Microsoft BI tools • Provide daily and weekly status updates to internal and external teams • Serve as a point of contact for end users providing guidance and troubleshooting • Ensure successful delivery via strong collaboration with the team Skills: • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft BI tools or other business intelligence tools • 2+ years working in an Agile environment, including the use of an agile tracking tool Jira • 1+ Year of experience in PowerBI • 1+ Year of experience in SAP BusinessObjects • 2+ years of database experience • 2+ years of experience gathering and documenting requirements • Experience interacting with and presenting to stakeholders • Strong communication skills
