Position: Business Intelligence Analyst (Agency Staff)
Location: Fully Remote
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst with expertise in data migration, automation, and visualization. This role involves implementing Snowflake, optimizing workflows, and developing interactive dashboards to deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Snowflake implementation, including full-cycle migration and optimization.
• Develop workflows, batch jobs, and automation using Alteryx.
• Build automation scripts and interfaces with Python and VBA.
• Integrate Snowflake with MS Access, addressing compatibility issues (32-bit vs. 64-bit).
• Migrate data sources and update all connections from Oracle to Snowflake.
• Create interactive forms and reports using Streamlit.
• Design dashboards and visualizations with Power BI and Power Query.
Essential Functions
• Design intuitive dashboards and reports that communicate insights effectively.
• Analyze, design, code, configure, test, debug, deploy, and maintain reporting assets.
• Apply BI methodologies for data collection, analysis, and presentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Partner with senior analysts to monitor data accuracy, quality, and efficiency.
• Support process improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and manage development dependencies across teams.
• Coach and mentor junior Business Intelligence Analysts.
• Provide analytics that transform data into actionable business insights.
Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in BI, data migration, and reporting.
• Strong proficiency in Snowflake, Alteryx, Python, VBA, Power BI, and related tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and data visualization best practices.
