Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst 5 in Redmond, WA. Summary: We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to design, build, and maintain KPI frameworks and performance reports that enable data-driven decision-making. This role partners closely with business and functional leaders to define meaningful metrics, ensure data accuracy, and translate performance insights into clear, actionable reporting. The ideal candidate is both analytical and business-minded-comfortable working with data while understanding how metrics drive operational and strategic outcomes. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Partner with business stakeholders to define, document, and standardize KPIs aligned to business objectives β€’ Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring performance reports (e.g., weekly, monthly, executive) β€’ Analyze KPI trends, variances, and drivers; Surface insights and recommendations β€’ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and sources β€’ Automate reporting where possible to improve scalability and reliability β€’ Develop clear data visualizations and narratives tailored to executive and operational audiences β€’ Establish reporting governance, definitions, and metric documentation β€’ Support ad hoc analysis and deep dives to inform decision-making β€’ Continuously improve KPI frameworks based on evolving business needs Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field β€’ 8 to 10 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or performance reporting β€’ Building end to end dashboards (model, visuals, publish): 5 to 8 years β€’ Data Querying & Transformation: 5 to 8 years β€’ KPI Design, Performance Measurement & Analysis: 5 to 8 years β€’ Strong experience with Power BI and reporting tools β€’ Proficiency in Excel; Working knowledge of SQL and data modeling preferred β€’ Experience translating business questions into measurable KPIs β€’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills β€’ Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
