Role description
Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 24 months Assignment
Shift/hours: 40hours/week, PST hours
Summary:
• Client Services is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the Services revenue operations team.
• This role will be central in shaping how we measure, manage, and accelerate performance.
• You will build core dashboards and data frameworks, enabling the team to operate with clarity, speed, and confidence.
• Your insights will directly inform strategic decisions and help define how we scale Services at Client.
Responsibilities:
Performance Measurement:
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards tracking business performance.
• Develop and maintain KPIs that provide real-time visibility into business health and funnel performance.
• Analyze funnel conversion rates, drop-off points, and program effectiveness, making recommendations to improve impact and efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify the right metrics and reporting for pilots and new initiatives.
Strategic Insights:
• Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
• Deliver concise, data-backed narratives that frame opportunities, challenges, and outcomes.
Data Infrastructure & Automation:
• Own SQL-based querying, data wrangling, and transformations for complex datasets.
• Streamline and automate recurring reporting to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
• Partner with engineering and data science teams as needed to resolve data quality or access issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and transforming large datasets.
• Experience navigating complex data infrastructure.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and familiarity with business intelligence tools (i.e. Tableau, Looker, Superset).
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools to accelerate analysis, querying, and reporting.
Analytical & Communication Skills:
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business insights in written format.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to “tell the story” behind the numbers.
• Proven ability to distill complex analyses for non-technical, senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 4+ years’ experience in business analytics, data, business operations, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a high-growth environment, multi-sided marketplace, or platform business.
• Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where speed and clarity -matter.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data, Economics, or a related field.
