Role description
Job Title: Power BI Data Visualization Consultant
Location: Annapolis, MD (Remote)
Responsibilities:
• Design and build 5 interactive Power BI dashboards.
• Prepare and integrate Excel/CSV data for Power BI.
• Develop data models, DAX measures, and RLS.
• Optimize dashboard performance and refresh processes.
• Apply strong UX design with clear visuals and user guidance.
• Provide technical documentation and user manuals.
Deliverables:
• Dashboards: ADC Coordinator, ADC Oversight, FTC Coordinator, FTC Oversight, Procedural Justice Survey.
• Documentation: Data models, DAX/RLS setup, update/refresh instructions, and user training materials.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Data Analytics, CS, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years Power BI experience; 1+ year consulting/staffing.
• Skilled in DAX, Power Query, ETL, RLS, and UX/UI design.
• Public sector or research data experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with judicial/government/social data.
• Strong Excel integration, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines with high-quality results.
