Role description
Job responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain core Python based application & scripts that enables key utilities, analytics & insights and exposes APIs for our stakeholders.
1. Creating end to tend data pipelines for reporting purposes from different type of data sources i.e APIs, DB’s, Sharepoint sites, servers
1. Manage end to end testing and reconciliation
1. Optimize data models and BAU data refresh pipelines
1. Proven experience in designing and optimizing data models for business intelligence and reporting.
1. Serve as a primary point of contact on resolving production issues
1. Manage performance monitoring and database tuning activities
1. Support ad-hoc analysis using tactical scripts and database queries
1. Own and maintain a product enhancement backlog aligned with overall strategic roadmap
Required qualifications and skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree is Computer science or related field
1. 3+ years experience developing Python based applications
1. Advanced knowledge of database design and using SQL for querying, updating and managing data
1. Working knowledge of JIRA
1. Strong understanding of SDLC and CI/CD
1. Advanced proficiency in building and maintaining ETL pipelines from multiple data sources (APTs, Databases, SharePoint)
