Role description
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer (Jacksonville) to join their dynamic team. As a Business Intelligence Developer (Jacksonville), you will be part of the Data & Analytics department supporting the Global Credit Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer (Jacksonville) Location: Jacksonville, FL (9000 Southside Blvd) Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension What's the Job? โ€ข Extract, manipulate, and validate data from multiple sources to support business decision-making. โ€ข Design, develop, and deploy complex MicroStrategy reports and dashboards using advanced filters, metrics, and pass-through functions. โ€ข Conduct root cause analysis to identify data issues and present insights and operational solutions to leadership. โ€ข Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. โ€ข Train users on reporting tools and systems to enhance data literacy and operational efficiency. What's Needed? โ€ข Extensive experience in SQL coding across SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata environments. โ€ข Proficiency in working with complex MicroStrategy reports and analytics. โ€ข Experience with data extraction, transformation, and validation processes. โ€ข Knowledge of SAS and Alteryx is preferred. โ€ข Desired skills include Python and MicroStrategy expertise.
