Business Intelligence Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer for a telework contract opportunity, with candidates local to Austin, TX, or willing to relocate, encouraged to apply. Responsibilities: The Senior Tableau Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support business operations and decision-making. This position will gather and document business requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions; integrate and validate data from multiple enterprise systems and databases; develop workflow metrics, KPIs, scorecards, and performance-monitoring dashboards; optimize dashboard performance, data quality, and user experience; troubleshoot and resolve reporting and data visualization issues; create technical and user documentation; provide knowledge transfer to personnel; and support ongoing enhancements, maintenance activities, and business intelligence initiatives. Minimum Qualifications: • 8 years of experience developing, implementing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in an enterprise environment. • 8 years of experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud, including dashboard design, data modeling, calculations, and performance optimization. • 8 years of experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • 8 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical reporting and analytics solutions. • 8 years of experience integrating and validating data from multiple data sources, including enterprise systems and data warehouses. • 8 years of experience applying data visualization best practices, KPI development, and business intelligence reporting standards. • 8 years of experience applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance. • 8 years of experience communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and working in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications: • 1 year of previous experience working in regulated or government environments. • 1 year of previous experience supporting workflow analysis, process improvement, and operational reporting.
