Business Intelligence Engineer

Job Description: Data Engineer Our team is seeking a skilled BI/Data Engineer to support the expansion of company-wide Power BI dashboards. This contract role focuses on enhancing data visualization and analytics capabilities across the organization. We are looking for an individual with expertise in building efficient data pipelines and working with modern cloud-based data platforms. Responsibilities: • Power BI Development & Expansion: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to expand, refine, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards for company-wide use. • Integrate Microsoft Fabric: Implement Microsoft Fabric into data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration with existing frameworks to optimize data delivery and processing. • Snowflake Implementation: Utilize and manage Snowflake cloud data solutions to build efficient, secure, and scalable data warehouse structures. • ETL Processes: Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows, ensuring optimal data architecture for dashboard reporting and analytics. • Testing & Optimization: Conduct rigorous testing on data systems, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and performance optimization. • Collaboration: Work closely with Business Analysts, SP&A professionals, and other technical teams, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business objectives. Requirements: • Proven professional experience as a Data Engineer focusing on Power BI development • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake cloud data platforms. • Proficiency in ETL design, data pipeline automation, and database optimization techniques. • Background or familiarity in Strategic Planning & Analysis (SP&A) or Oil & Gas industry is highly preferred. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying data solutions. • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
