Job Description
• As a Business Intelligence Engineer for Fulfillment Operations , you will utilize your deep expertise in business analytics and tooling to translate the data into meaningful insights.
• Through tooling, automation, data analysis, and modeling, you will create solutions to continuously measure KPIs and empower client Operations with the data and insights they need to improve the customer experience and drive efficiencies at scale.
Key job responsibilities
• Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will inform and influence data-driven decisions for business operations.
• Develop high-quality queries and visualizations for ad-hoc requests and projects, as well as ongoing reporting.
• Develop self-service automated solutions to minimize manual processes with focus on efficiency and scalability.
• Use analytical and statistical rigor to solve complex problems and drive business decisions that will help us achieve our strategic goals.
• Assist in the development of key metrics and performance indicators to measure overall performance and provide foundation for continuous improvement.
• Conduct deep dive investigations into operations execution and business problems, identify opportunities, and lead or support implementation
• Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple teams, gathering requirements and delivering end to end solutions.
• Learn and understand a broad range of client s data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, PowerBI or similar tools
• 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
• Advanced experience using SQL and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS
• Excellent communication skills, equally adept at working with engineers as well as business leaders
• Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
• Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
• Understanding of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
• Experience with SAP or similar inventory systems
• Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
• Years of Experience: +3 Years
• Degree or Certification: Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
• Leadership Principle: Learn and Be Curious, Dive Deep, Clear communication, ownership
