Business Intelligence & Reporting Architect – Sigma & Snowflake

Key Responsibilities Reporting & Development • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality reports and dashboards using Sigma Computing • Build and manage Sigma Data Models and semantic layers for scalable and reusable reporting • Leverage Sigma AI Builder to accelerate insights and enable self-service analytics • Apply best practices in reporting design, usability, and data visualization Data Modeling & Performance • Apply expertise in dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas) for performance and accuracy • Write, tune, and optimize Snowflake SQL queries for reporting workloads • Troubleshoot performance and data issues across Snowflake and Sigma environments Architecture & Governance • Own Sigma architecture decisions including: • Data modeling patterns • Performance strategies • Governance frameworks • Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability across reporting assets • Define and promote reporting standards and development best practices Stakeholder Collaboration • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to: • Gather and refine reporting requirements • Define KPIs and reporting frameworks • Translate business needs into scalable analytical solutions Leadership & Mentoring • Guide and mentor developers on Sigma best practices • Provide architectural direction and enforce development standards Primary Skills • Strong understanding of Dimensional Data Modeling & Analytical Data Design • Experience designing enterprise-scale BI/Analytics platforms • Proven expertise in Sigma Computing, including: • Data Model Builder • AI Builder • Report & Dashboard Development • Strong data visualization and UX-focused reporting design mindset • Experience working directly with stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics • Ability to design end-to-end reporting architectures • Advanced Snowflake expertise, including query optimization • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Secondary Skills • Insurance domain knowledge (preferred) Soft Skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience working with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders • Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills Mandatory Skills • ANSI SQL • BI Solutions Architecture • Dimensional Data Modeling • Power BI
