About the Role
Client is seeking three (3) experienced Business Solutions Analysts (BSAs) to support ongoing modernization and enhancement efforts.These professionals will act as key liaisons between business stakeholders and IT teamsβtranslating policy, regulatory, and business process changes into clear, actionable technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Define and document opportunities for new or improved business process solutions through detailed needs analysis.
Conduct business process reengineering, feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses.
Serve as liaison between business units, stakeholders, and technical teams.
Elicit, refine, and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
Develop business cases, system scopes, and cost estimates for IT solutions.
Support integration of policies, procedures, training materials, and technical components.
Participate in performance, reliability, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Contribute to systems implementation and post-implementation support.
Ensure adherence to information security and compliance standards.
Provide expertise in project management, change management, and risk/issue tracking.
Deliver weekly, monthly, and final status reports detailing progress, issues, and recommendations.
Develop and execute a Knowledge Transfer Plan to ensure seamless handover of project understanding.
Required (Mandatory) Qualifications
Each Business Solutions Analyst must individually meet all of the following qualifications:
5+ years of experience providing project, technical, or functional management support on large-scale IT projects.
5+ years of experience applying SDLC principles to identify, evaluate, and define business/technical requirements.
5+ years of experience performing analysis and design for complex enterprise systems.
3+ years of experience with change management processes.
3+ years of experience participating in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions, performing gap analysis, cost analysis, and implementing change requests.
3+ years of System and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience for large-scale projects.
Desirable Qualifications
2+ years of experience using HP ALM, Jira, or Rational Team Concert.
2+ years of experience working in Agile methodology.
2+ years of experience with State Welfare Medi-Cal, SAWS, State Integrated Eligibility Systems, or health insurance programs.
2+ years of data analysis experience for large-scale government or healthcare projects.
