Role description

Overview: Turnberry Solutions is seeking a Business Systems and Reporting Analyst to support data-informed decision-making, business process improvement, and the effective use of systems across the organization.
This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. The Analyst will own recurring operational and executive reporting, gather and document business requirements, provide first-level support for Salesforce and related business applications, and coordinate testing and implementation of system and process enhancements.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen, technical curiosity, and the ability to translate complex or ambiguous requests into clear, actionable solutions. This role will partner closely with Operations, Recruiting, Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and internal technology teams.
Responsibilities
• Reporting and Data Analysis
• Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring executive, operational, sales, and recruiting reports
• Build and enhance reports and dashboards using Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and other approved reporting tools
• Respond to prioritized ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from business and executive stakeholders
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement
• Validate the accuracy and completeness of reporting outputs
• Investigate data discrepancies and coordinate corrective action with the appropriate business or technical teams
• Help document and standardize definitions for key business metrics and reporting fields
• Business Analysis and Process Improvement
• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, process challenges, and desired outcomes
• Gather, document, and validate business, functional, reporting, and system requirements
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear user stories, Jira tickets, requirements documentation, and acceptance criteria
• Document current-state and future-state processes
• Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, improve data quality, reduce manual effort, and strengthen operational controls
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and help drive alignment on proposed process or system changes
• Track requirements, decisions, dependencies, and open issues through completion
• Business Systems Support
• Provide first-level support for Salesforce, Bullhorn for Salesforce, and other assigned business applications
• Troubleshoot user access, reporting, workflow, data, and system-related questions
• Monitor assigned support queues and resolve issues within the Analyst’s level of access and expertise
• Escalate issues requiring advanced configuration, development, or vendor support
• Identify recurring support issues and recommend improvements to processes, training, or system functionality
• Maintain documentation, reference materials, and frequently asked questions for common system processes
• Testing and Implementation
• Develop test scenarios and perform user acceptance testing and regression testing for system enhancements
• Confirm that proposed solutions meet documented business requirements
• Coordinate testing activities with business users, system administrators, and development resources
• Document defects, track remediation, and validate fixes
• Support rollout planning, user communications, training, and post-launch support
• Monitor adoption and identify opportunities for additional training or process refinement
• Product and Enhancement Coordination
• Maintain and organize enhancement requests and backlogs for assigned internal tools and processes
• Support business owners with prioritization by evaluating business need, impact, urgency, and dependencies
• Coordinate requirements, stakeholder feedback, testing, and release readiness
• Partner with internal development teams and external system-support resources to track enhancements through completion
• Support reporting on adoption, usage, issues, and business outcomes following implementation
• Cross-Functional Project Support
• Participate in cross-functional projects involving reporting, systems, process improvement, or operational transformation
• Provide business analysis, data validation, testing, documentation, and implementation support as needed
• Assist with the development and delivery of system and process training
• Serve as a resource to business teams navigating changes to systems, processes, or reporting
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, Operations, related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Three or more years of experience in business analysis, business systems, reporting, operations analysis, or a similar role
• Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, and business analyses
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and data analysis
• Experience working with a CRM, applicant tracking system, enterprise platform, or similar business application
• Experience performing user acceptance testing and documenting defects or system issues
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical resources
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, requests, and deadlines
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail

The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $80,000 or the hourly equivalent.
