Role description
Position: Azure DevOps EngineerLocation: Remote
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support cloud infrastructure operations within a large-scale Azure environment. This is a technical, hands-on role focused on Kubernetes platform engineering, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code within a CAF-aligned Azure landing zone.
Responsibilities:Core demands of this role:
β’ Consult on environment designs for resource deployment in CLIENT preferred landing zone architecture.
β’ Produce critical documentation including project artifacts and internal SOPs to transition services into long-term support.
β’ Strategize with project managers, application development teams and other stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
β’ Ensure system stability, resiliency, and security - providing tier 2 / 3 support for cloud infrastructure and applications.
β’ Participate in on call rotation with other cloud engineers.
β’ Comply with all policies and standards.

β’ AKS cluster management (K9s, kubectl) with GitOps workflows via ArgoCD
β’ Terraform module authoring, state management, and Helm chart lifecycle management
β’ Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline development (YAML-based)

β’ Plan, build, and run IaaS/PaaS services β VMs, storage, App Services, databases, ACR

Standards & Delivery:

Education and Experience Requirements:
β’ Associate degree in computer science or a related field or relevant experience.
β’ Minimum of 7 years of Azure experience in a large Azure environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Required:
β’ Certifications:Β AZ-104: Azure Administrator Associate
β’ Deep understanding of current Azure offerings.
β’ ExpertiseΒ in DevOps tools and concepts on Azure β Azure DevOps, GitLabs, Github, IaC (Terraform), CI/CD.
β’ Experience coordinating with large project teams including employees, contractors and MSPs.
β’ Experience in cloud database services. (Azure SQL, Azure SQL Managed Instance, etc.)
β’ Experience managing Entra ID, Active Directory, and Entra Connect.
