Celonis Process Mining Leader

Job Title: Celonis Process Mining Leader Location: Remote plus travel upto 25% (Expenses Covered) Duration: Long Term Job Description: • We are seeking a skilled Process Mining Leader to design, develop, and optimize process mining solutions using the Celonis EMS platform. • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Celonis, strong data engineering skills, and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to uncover process inefficiencies and drive operational excellence. Responsibilities: • Implement and configure Celonis EMS to support business process analysis and optimization initiatives. • Design and build process data models (Pipelines, PQL models, Data Models) and integrate data from multiple systems (SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Salesforce, custom applications, etc.). • Develop and optimize PQL queries, OLAP tables, dashboards, and analyses within Celonis. • Perform end-to-end process mining including data ingestion, transformation, modeling, mapping, and validation. • Collaborate with functional SMEs to understand business processes (Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, etc.). • Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities using Celonis insights. • Create action flows, automations, and alerts to drive process improvements. • Work with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, process performance metrics, and improvement strategies. • Ensure data quality, governance, and scalability of Celonis data models. • Provide training, documentation, and support for business users on Celonis dashboards and functionalities. • Participate in solution architecture, roadmap planning, and best-practice frameworks for sustainable process mining deployments. Required Skills & Experience: • 3–7+ years of experience in Process Mining, Data Engineering, or Business Process Analytics. • Strong hands-on experience with Celonis EMS, including PQL, data models, event logs, and dashboards. • Proficiency in SQL, ETL/ELT tools, data modelling, and large-scale data processing. • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP ECC/S4HANA, Oracle ERP, Workday, Salesforce, or ServiceNow. • Strong understanding of business processes such as O2C, P2P, R2R, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or industry-specific processes. • Ability to translate business requirements into technical process mining solutions. • Experience working with APIs, automation workflows, and system connectors is a plus. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Celonis certification (e.g., Celonis Data Engineer, Analyst, PQL Expert) is highly desirable. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., SAP BTP, Talend, Informatica, Alteryx, Azure Data Factory). • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages. • Exposure to AI/ML-driven process intelligence or automation tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate). • Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
