Cerner CCL Report Developer

This role is a production-facing reporting and data support position, focused on developing and maintaining CCL-based reports, SQL queries, and data extracts that enable clinical, operational, and compliance reporting. Federal government requires US Citizenship to support this project. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts using Discern Explorer for reporting and data extraction • Write and optimize complex SQL queries against large-scale Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) databases • Support production reporting operations, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and urgent data requests • Partner with clinical, business, and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into accurate, performant reporting solutions • Generate operational, clinical, financial, and compliance reports • Validate and reconcile data across Oracle Health (Cerner) • Troubleshoot issues related to: • Data integrity and discrepancies • Report performance and execution failures • Upstream/downstream data dependencies • Support data extraction and ad hoc reporting requests in a fast-paced production environment • Ensure compliance with security, HIPAA, and data governance standards • Participate in deployment waves, sustainment activities, and system updates • Document reporting logic, data mappings, and technical solutions for audit and maintainability Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience with Cerner CCL (Discern Explorer) development • Strong hands-on experience with SQL (Oracle preferred) • Experience supporting production reporting environments (not just development/test) • Working knowledge of Cerner Millennium data structures • Experience with healthcare data (EHR/EMR systems) • Ability to work with sensitive/regulated data in secure environments • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage multiple concurrent reporting requests and priorities Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Cerner Discern Analytics, PowerInsight, or HealtheIntent • Knowledge of HL7 interfaces, FHIR, or healthcare interoperability standards • Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) layered on top of EHR data • Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations ECCO Select is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
