Clarity and trust guide everything we do, ensuring a seamless experience for drivers, service providers, and partners. Just Jump makes getting car help easy and reliable. Weโve proven the demand with a working prototype, real providers, and early traction. Now weโre rebuilding the platform for scale, and weโre looking for a technical cofounder to own that future with us. Youโll lead all things technology from system architecture to launch, while shaping how millions of drivers, providers, and partners will connect in real time.
You will:
Rebuild our current no-code prototype into a scalable web and mobile platform.
Design and own the full tech stack (front end, back end, database, APIs).
Integrate key tools: payments, provider dashboards, VIN/warranty lookups, and analytics.
Implement automation and data systems that power our long-term vision.
Work directly with the founder to prioritize features and shape product direction.
Eventually build and lead a future engineering team.
You Are:
A full-stack engineer or technical leader who can build fast and think big.
Comfortable designing scalable architectures (React / Node / Python / etc.).
Passionate about marketplaces, mobility, or automotive innovation.
Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and ready to own a large equity stake instead of a salary.
Excited by early-stage chaos and clarity โ building something that lasts.
Compensation:
This is a founding-level position with meaningful equity participation. As an early-stage company, base salary will be deferred until funding or revenue milestones are reached. Compensation includes a generous founder equity package with standard vesting (4 years, 1-year cliff) and the opportunity to shape both the product and the companyโs future. Weโre looking for a partner, not just a hire. We need an owner ready to jump in and help build a scalable platform from the ground up, while growing alongside it.

Qualifications:
Prior experience as a founder, cofounder, or early startup builder (zero-to-one experience is required).
5+ years of full-stack engineering or technical leadership experience.
Proven experience building or scaling consumer-facing marketplaces or platforms.
Fluency in modern frameworks such as React, React Native, Node.js, Next.js, or Firebase.
Strong sense of product design and user experience.
Experience in data structure planning, automation, and performance optimization.
Comfortable operating in early-stage environments with limited resources.
Excellent communication skills and ownership mindset.
Strong SaaS background.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Strong existing relationships that align with the company's purpose or strategic direction.
Experience with automotive, logistics, or mobility tech is a plus.
Familiarity with AI or predictive data models.
Knowledge of marketplace optimization, SEO, or local search mechanics.
Prior experience fundraising or working directly with investors an added plus.
