Job Summary
BNY is seeking a Client Onboarding Analyst to join the Enterprise Onboarding Platform team, supporting Securities Finance and Foreign Exchange (FX) onboarding activities. This role is responsible for onboarding clients, opening and maintaining FX trading sub-accounts, and ensuring all regulatory and operational requirements are met across the client lifecycle.
This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA and requires 4+ days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities
• Client Onboarding & Account Management: Support onboarding, account opening/closing, and client transitions for FX trading accounts, ensuring a smooth and timely onboarding experience.
• Regulatory & Documentation Oversight: Obtain, review, and validate client documentation to ensure compliance with AML, KYC, and regulatory requirements prior to account activation.
• Client & Stakeholder Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders, guiding them through onboarding requirements, timelines, and expectations.
• Operational Execution: Perform high-volume data entry and account setup activities with strong attention to detail in a time-sensitive environment.
• SLA & Process Management: Ensure all onboarding activities meet established service level agreements and internal quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with FX Sales, Trade Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams to coordinate onboarding activities and resolve issues.
• Client Readiness Support: Prepare clients for account activation by clearly communicating documentation requirements, regulatory expectations, and onboarding steps.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to team goals by identifying process improvements and supporting operational efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)
• 1–2+ years of professional experience (internships or entry-level roles considered)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience
• Experience in financial services, securities, or client onboarding environments
• Exposure to FX markets, capital markets, or securities finance
• Prior experience in client-facing or operations roles
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Internship experience in finance, banking, or related fields
