Role Responsibilities
• Contribute climate science expertise to research-driven AI projects involving large language models
• Design real-world, domain-specific climate and environmental analysis tasks
• Work with environmental and geophysical datasets to create high-quality problem statements
• Craft detailed evaluation rubrics to assess AI agent performance
• Collaborate asynchronously with other domain experts while meeting quality and timeline expectations
Requirements
• Advanced academic background in climate science, earth science, environmental science, atmospheric science, geophysics, or a related field
• Strong familiarity with environmental and climate datasets and public data portals
• High attention to detail with the ability to produce precise, well-structured analytical tasks
• Excellent written communication skills with strong English proficiency
• Comfort working independently in a remote, asynchronous research environment
